Tikkurila Luja Universal Primer is a premium water-based acrylic primer developed for interior walls and ceilings in demanding environments. It is specifically designed as part of the Tikkurila Luja system, helping to protect surfaces exposed to moisture, humidity and frequent cleaning.

The primer forms a tight, moisture-resistant film, reducing water absorption and helping prevent the penetration of moisture into the substrate. When used with Luja finishing paints, it creates a highly durable coating system suitable for hygienic environments.

It also contains anti-mould additives, helping to protect surfaces from fungal growth, making it ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, hospitals and other high-humidity areas.
