Barrettine Decking Oil Anti-Slip Top Coat is a premium quality exterior wood treatment designed to improve grip on decking and other timber surfaces. Formulated with anti-slip technology, it provides a low sheen, water-repellent finish whilst helping to protect timber from weathering and mould growth.

Important Application Information

Barrettine Anti-Slip Top Coat is designed as a top coat and should not be used as a stand-alone finish on bare or untreated timber.

For best results:

1. First apply a compatible decking oil or microporous wood finish.
2. Allow the base treatment to dry fully.
3. Apply the Anti-Slip Top Coat as the final protective coat.

Coverage: Up to 17m² per litre depending on timber type and absorbency.

Recommended Coats: 1 coat is normally sufficient. A second coat may be applied if required.

Application Advice

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contamination.
• Only apply over a suitable compatible decking oil or finish.
• Stir thoroughly before and during use.
• Apply evenly using a brush or roller.
• Avoid over-application.
• Apply in dry weather above 5°C with no rain forecast for at least 24 hours.

Drying Times

• Recoat Time: Approximately 12-24 hours
• Fully Dry: Approximately 24-72 hours, depending on weather conditions.
